Prepare the iPhone for installing these applications:
Click the installer application on your iPhone.
You will then be prompted to select your Wi-Fi connection.
Click refresh to view the multitude of available applications.
Select the application you wish to download.
After it has downloaded, allow it to reboot and it should appear on your home screen.

Now onto some of the really cool apps available:
The first is called Beatmaker. It is a sampler and groove editor that has a lot of possibilities, including recording and importing samples. It also has very low latency pads for creating beats or playing live. The metronome, alone, is amazing. Just being able to tap the tempo at your convenience allows you to determine the tempo of any song instantly.
Gigbaby is a four-track recorder complete with metronome and drum patterns. Additional drum patterns can be purchased for only 99 cents as of this writing.
Step3
Touch OSC might just be the most amazing application for a remote controller. This application allows the user to configure it as a fader, transport and remote for apps such as: Reason, Abelton, Novation, Traktor and even ProTools. It allows for seamless control of many of the integrated functions in a variety of the software synthesizers.
The price is only $3.99 as of this writing and can be purchased directly from the Apple App Store.

A few others of note are:
• iKoto: Traditional Japanese instrument
• miniSynth: Great synth sounds
• iDrum: Great use of the touch iPhone's interface
• Ocarina: The instrument is OK, but the ability to hear in real time other users playing all over the world is pretty amazing!
• iTM Midi Lab: Integrates well with Logic for playing soft synths
• PocketGuitar: You can actually "bend" strings and the iPhone accelerometer works like a whammy bar
• Noise Trio: Another great soft synth with some really cool sounds
Step5
Peruse Apple's App Store either on your iPhone or via iTunes. They offer so many amazing applications. You may discover things that you've always wanted, but had no idea existed.
